CODE OF ETHICS OF IL TARTUFO DI PAOLO
1.1. Nature of the Code
The Code of Ethics collects the principles and rules of conduct in which the company Il Tartufo di Paolo (hereinafter the “Company”) recognizes itself. The Code of Ethics of the Tartufo company contains the ethical rules that we consider particularly essential in our commercial relationships.
1.2. Content and purpose
The Code of Ethics has the main purpose of declaring and disseminating the values and behavioral rules which Il Tartufo di Paolo constantly refers to in the exercise of its commercial and entrepreneurial activity.
1.3. Constraints
- a) The Customers, Suppliers, Collaborators of Il Tartufo di Paolo, recipients of this Code, are bound to observe and respect its principles and to comply with the rules of conduct indicated therein;
- b) The knowledge and compliance with the provisions of the Code by Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators, represent an indispensable requirement for the establishment and maintenance of commercial relations with the Company.
- c) To protect its image and to safeguard its resources, the Company does not entertain relations of any kind with Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators who do not intend to operate in strict compliance with the sector regulations or who refuse to comply with the values and the principles that inspired this Code.
1.4. Fairness
Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators must comply with the principles of correctness and loyalty in the performance of their internal and external functions, also for the purposes of the corporate image and the relationship of trust established with customers and, in general, with third parties.
1.5 Honesty in business
Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators must adopt a correct and honest attitude in dealing with Il Tartufo di Paolo, avoiding pursuing illicit or illegitimate purposes, or generating hypotheses of conflict of interest to procure an undue advantage for themselves or third parties.
1.6. Human rights
In compliance with the observations of the Company. towards their employees and collaborators, the Clients, Suppliers and Collaborators of Tartufo di Paolo will respect the rights of their employees in relation to freedom of religion, leisure, free time and paid holidays and will undertake to follow the principle of employment and fair and equitable wages in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
1.8. Prohibition of discrimination
Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators of the Company will in no case commit any discrimination on the basis of sex, family status, age, ethnic origin, skin color, religion, political beliefs, disability and sexual orientation.
1.9. Harassment
In compliance with the internal policy of the same Company, the Clients, Suppliers and Collaborators of Tartufo di Paolo will not act or behave in a way that could be considered violent, threatening, detestable, ill-disposed or insulting.
- Forced or child labor
The Company’s Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators will not tolerate forced, slave and child labor in any form.
- Protection of health, safety and the environment
The Company’s Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators must comply with the laws and procedures for the protection of health, safety and the environment.
- Fair competition
Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators of the Company will carry out their activities and operations in accordance with the rules on fair and fair competition and with the provisions of the law on competition (anti-trust laws).
- Violations
Customers, Suppliers and Collaborators of the Company will immediately inform the Company of any violation of the provisions of the Code of Ethics.
Persistent violation of the provisions of the Code of Ethics by suppliers will result in the termination of the contract pursuant to art. 1456 of the Italian Civil Code
